Not for about the last three years.....sad really
The A3 is one of the biggest mistakes B&O ever made...A docking station for one specific tablet from another brand...
Shortly after the release of the A3, Apple made a new iPad with a new connector...And nobody expect that future iPads will have the same size... So B&O would have to make a new model everytime Apple makes a new iPad...
No wonder they're desperate to get rid of the last ones...

ich denke die Mediamarkt-leute wissen was sie tun.
Es gibt mehrere möglichkeiten - vom günstig eingekauft haben, übers Werbe-budget bis zu Abschreibung.
Die haben damit jedenfalls 'Interesse' generiert und wahrscheinlich auch neue Kunden bekommen.
Ich denke B&O wird das Wurst sein - die sind ja verkauft, und wer weiss wie viel/wenig B&O dafür bekommen haben. War ja wahrscheinlich die Restpartie. Und die werden wohl auch kaum in den B&O-Läden zu finden sein.

They weren't that bad after all - but I am sure that they won't make a version 2 of it,.
They have triggered attention to the brand BeoPlay - and that is not bad at all..
Many owners like them - if you have a 'spare/old' iPad they surely can be usefull.
We (at least I) don't know if this has been a gain or loss for B&O - and probably never will find out.

For as long as Apple continue to make and sell the basic 30 pin connector iPad the A3 is an absolute bargain at this price.
Just don't place it anywhere where it could get knocked over!

The A3 has a great sound for what it does. However, the fact that Apple changed the Connector like two months after its release makes it hard nowadays to sell A3 to customers. And since A3 was not really the most popular product either way, puts it out of questions that B&O Play comes with an updated version.
So this is a sell out I guess.

iPad 2 looks as if it has disappeared from the Apple website, but John Lewis are still stocking and retailing it in the UK.
Looks as if B&O have let their A3 stocks go in anticipation of Apple ceasing production. Maybe John Lewis provide the last opportunity for anyone to get a new iPad 2 if they can get their hands onto a bargain A3.

PS: The official B&O online store is still offering A3s for EUR 399,- ...just wondering, how customers will feel after finding out they paid the fourfold price ...

I ordered and used a German shippingadress.
Initially I had some problems using my Swedish creditcard but via paypal payment all worked well.
mediamarkt.de only ships to Germany and Italy.
If anyone is interested I could buy 2 units from Mediamarkt here in Germany and ship them to your desired location but you have to pay the insured postage to your country.Payment could be made via standard bank money transfer.It is limitied to 2 units per customer in the online shop, so the first 2 people definite telling me that they want one will be first served. No jokes please. If you tell me you want one I'll order them (as long as they are available!).Just let me know. I'm only gonna ship as an insured parcel with DHL international. Ich habe gerade auch mal ein schwarzes geordert...für 99 Euro völlig OK um meinem alten iPad noch einmal ein Leben einzuhauchen.
Aber mehr würde ich für das Teil nicht ausgeben...und da noch bestellbar scheint auch selbst für 99 Euro das kein Renner zu sein. Ich frag meinen Händler mal lieber nicht, was der von der Aktion hält...

Finde den A3 für 99€ Super. Aber was daran über 500€ kosten sollte bleibt mir schleierhaft!?

But iPad2 can be found if you do an individual search of the UK site, so I stand corrected. Looks more like Apple are no longer promoting the product on the iPad page where there is no choice given other than Retina or mini.

The above link, if typed in without the final '/' , wil give you a page with an option to select the iPad2. With the final slash added (which is the page Apple give you via the iPad link) iPad2 does not appear as an option!
