If anyone wants to buy a new BeoCom 1401, now is the time as they have stopped production. About 500 black and white ones are left. It is sometimes jolly useful to have a phone that needs no electricity from the mains!

I have one aswell, if there is a power cut you still have a phone.  The clarity on these is very good also!

Best sounding phone I ever used, and the worst reliability, which is why I have two Panasonics, bulletproof, and for the looks dept a cheap Jacob Jensen cordless I got off EBay. One cordless Panny, one corded for exactly the reasons mentioned.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
