Hello everyone,

Since yesterday I'm experiencing some problems with my setup.
I have a Beosystem 3 connected to a Panasonic Plasma. I also connected a Beocenter 2 through masterlink with the Beosystem 3. Front speakers are BL8000, Center speaker is a BL 7.1. Woofer BL2 and rear speakers BL3.

Yesterday I hooked up an Apple tv to the Beosystem 3 and it works fine. BUT.. and here it comes: since I connected the Apple tv, the Beocenter doesn't respond to the remote anymore. I know the Beosystem should be in Opt. 2 and the Beocenter should be in Opt. 0, but that doesn't work. When I put both of them in Opt. 2, the Beocenter does respond to the remote, but the sound of the cd does not come through the speakers. I already tried three different ML cables, but all of them with the same result.

is there anyone out there who knows how to help? I really do hope so!

Thanks in advance!

I know it's very elementary, but I would start with a hard power down by unplugging all the components and re plugging them in after about 5 minutes. I start there 1st with all BS3 related problems. You'd be surprised how many problems are solved that way.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Thanks for the tip!

I tried that about three times,  but unfortunately it didn't work...

Update: This morning I disconnected everything from the Beosystem 3 and started again from scratch. I did all the connections again and hooked up the power on both systems. Result: the problem is still there.

This afternoon I took the Ouverture from our bedroom and hooked it up to the Beosystem 3. Same problem: The ouverture works as a stand alone, but when hooked up on the BS3, with correct opt. settings, nothing happens. It doesn't respond to the Beo4's commands.

Now I know for sure that the problem is caused by the Beosystem 3. But the question remains: how can I fix it?
Is it a faulty masterlink connector on the BS3? Did I do something wrong in the settings?

if there's anyone who can help me out, I would be eternally greatful!!
