greetings all,

I am having problems with my Beocenter 7000:

the display shows P and I can't change it, as it seem to be stuck in that mode/source.

is there any way of re-setting the micro-processor or another way of getting back to normal ??

naturally it could perhaps be something totally unrelated......... BUT WHAT ????

any help is appreciated

thank you so much :-))

cheers, ALF

This indicates that the CPU is not running.
There can be several causes for this:
- Bad reset circuit
- Ripple on power supply
- Defective CPU

thanks Martin,

that does not sound very encouraging, to say the least :-(

looks to me the unit is ready  to be parted-out unless there is another "cheap" option in store ??

cheers, ALF

hi martin,

looking at the wiring diagrams:

there should be 6.5V PC3/P11 pin9 supplying  PC21/P29 pin11 with 6.5V but  is only about 0.5V ??

I can however measure the 15V on  PC21/P29 pin10 !

that is rather odd ??

cheers, ALF
