I am very interested in the Mammutbox, which I once read about on these forums, but as far as I understand, it is not for sale, and they don't answer my e-mails sent to the address mentioned on their website.

Do any of you have any experience with the Mammutbox??

I did sign up for one box, end of last year, and I had a chat on the phone with one of the guys in February.

In February they had shipped the first batch and the second was soon to follow. that was the info given anyway.. due to some licence issues they also could not include direct control of RF switches for lights but a USB dongle had to be used, so one of the selling points that I fell for was then gone.

but since then there seem to be no progress and no e-mail updates. so it is interesting to hear that you don't get any answers at all either, interesting in a bad way that is...

This seems to be a common problem nowadays with all these small startups and kickstarter crap. I have the impression there hundres of "incredible awesome" (regarding to their marketing efforts) boxes for home automation systems... but call me oldschool: I want a reliable(!) product from a company with support etc. and not one of those thousands dayflies.
