So I just received a message in my Facebook timeline that B&O Play updated their cover photo. A cover photo on a Facebook page is a landscape size picture that is effectively a banner as it is the very first thing you see when the page loads.

I've attached the photo. Bear in mind that this is the latest update I received from B&O Play!

Worth pointing out that recent posts have been about the A9 Nordic Sky special editions.  This is the colour scheme from one of them so meant to remind people and bring their availability to the front of people's minds on a Monday morning

Sure, for the educated Beoworlder that would make sense...

I consider myself a little bit of an educated Beoworlder, but when I saw that in my feed I had no idea it was anything at all. I just thought they must have chosen a pretty colour...

Irrespective of what it stands for, do you honestly think I would 'share' that picture with my friends? They'd just laugh at me and tell me I forgot to include the picture!

As aesthetically pleasing the new speaker grills are why don't they call it what it is ?   Ombre color scheme.

Why would they call it that when the design theme is Nordic Sky?

Nordic Sky does sound more romantic. However it doesn't sound very informed especially if you are targeting the fashionable crowd since it will just appear as Ombre to them

Nordic Sky is to Ombre as Marketing Plan is to color pattern.  To me, there is no reason to confuse the two.

So I guess they read this! It has been changed to a picture of the A9...
