I was just thinking about symbolism and commerce. Ever wondered how B&O is moving on from the  older Beolab 6000, 8000 ranges that were more phallic and to the more feminine "booby" circular designs?

This is not the place to discus sexual fantasies

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Well according to Freud everything can be related to sex.

And since when is this a puritanical forum?

Stop your hating. I obviously have good points to share. Notice how Beolab 14 now has a version that is compatible with receivers from other brands?

Check out my older posts! I am not saying that the credit goes to me but just simply stating that I am quite logical in my thinking pattern. And I should not be considered as a troll although one of my all time favorite cartoons is A Troll in Central Park.  Big Smile

Anyway in regards to the "credit" it will be nice to be offered consulting position even if it is a non-paying one. It will be great for my self-esteem.

You've got to be kiddin' right? Maybe a little bit less egocentrism wouldn't be bad at all... You're not God's Gift to Iconic AV...

Looking at a course Product Design... I can tell that the latest B&O products have probably been in the pipeline for at least 24 to 36 months! Not because you told something here on the forum...

Are you suggesting that when they designed the 14 sub like a big ***, they actually had you in mind?

LOLz... !!!!

What I meant the adaptability to third part receivers part. It may just be coincidence. But I referred to it to defend my logic.

Regarding the egocentricity. Well I am and I am not. I am always subject to change so... how to pinpoint?

Lessons in humility, part 1.

I guess Madonna and Gaultier were pleased with the BeoSound 8 - I guess that so are you, since you want B&O to ally itself with designers?

You should send B&O a bill.

Please stop feeding the animals...... I cringe every time this thread pops back up at the top of the active threads......

Exactly, ignore or don't read! I had this a while ago where someone placed a stupid and insulting remark (link) to me. I made the mistake to respond on this A..hole

I was talking about consumer psychology and just throwing an idea out there. Besides isn't B&O now participating in Denmark fashion week or something?

B&O has long partnered with fashion labels aka Vuitton.

All thoughts are related thus everything can or cannot be sexual.

Oh never mind. I don't seem to belong here despite having given okay inputs. I wonder why?

So exactly how should B&O ally itself with?

Take a chill pill. I wonder why you would respond so greatly to such casual remarks. Besides like I said I just wanted to defend my reasoning by bringing up examples that have apparently been now accepted by B&O. No I don't need to send B&O a bill. B&O used to have an idea land where everyone inputs ideas freely. Where were you guys when that was going on in the early 2000s?

If B&O sees potential in including me, they would have shot me an email. But obviously they don't so no big deal. At least it seems like they have accepted some of the inputs members have put on here. Isn't that the whole point of this forum? To get yourself heard by a brand you like?

Jeeze... It's like a witch hunt here! I expected more. It's yr 2013 people!

Freud also said:

"Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar."

In other words, not everything has a deep meaning. Sometimes simplicity is just that, simple. Big Smile

I think that, when at the best, different thoughts can give you ideas, controversial or not... maybe quirky or not...
