Hello, i am David

Hope someone maybe able to help me, Its a few yrs since i was last on here, i have a problem if anyone has any ideas that i could try out to maybe resolve the problem.

I  have a Beovision 7 32 which is fine, all the speakers worked and still do. i bought a used Beovision 7 40 mk 2 for the larger screen. I set it up as you do, is not to hard if your used to the Beovision menu, as i am.

I have come across this unexpected problem with centre speaker, plugged into the cinema centre socket, is a lab 7-4, which i think the tv isn't sending a signal [sound] to, with lab 3's as front with 6000's rear. when i choose sound system on tv menu 1  3 or 5  there is no sound at all from anything, choice 2 uses the lab 3's fine & 4 uses both sets of speakers fine. i think i have done every thing possible to try to get sound out of the tv on the cinema centre socket with no joy, maybe its software update required?

Would appreciate any feedback.. thanks

David

Hi David, ignore the cinema center - it isn't the socket you want to use. You actually want to plug you center channel speaker in to the either of the two powerlink sockets underneath the scarts etc on the left hand side of the TV (as you look at it from behind). These sockets are the center channel.

Hi Martin.....i think i was a little over confident on connecting all these wires up to the new tv, forgetting that it was almost 3 yrs since we got the 32. i also thought buying a used set was in the back of my mind thinking its faulty & should never have bought it.

I would like to thank you for putting me on the right track, also for sorting a problem which i caused thru being to anxious wanting to run before walking, the sound is as it was with the Beovision 32. No words can explain really! if you know what i mean.

You saved me a few quid to, i was for calling out the techno man

Thanks again

David.
