I'm the guy that's selling the Beo 5, thanks for all the good comments.  The reason we're selling for £200 is that we lost the remote, the last time I used it a couple of months ago it was in perfect working order, also we're moving to a smaller house and it's a big TV.  If anyone is interested or can give me a bit of advice in selling it please reply.

Don't worry it won't end up in a skip.

Cheers

Rich

Cheers, didn't know you could trade them in.  I'd prefer to sell though.

Probably cost more to ship that the price of the TV, sorry.  Smile

Shame you're not in Sheffield - I'd have had it at that price!

Only if the dealer will take it. I tried trading in a BC6-23 recently and took a big hit on what I paid for it, as no dealer wanted it.

It would be easier to sell. One thing I would consider though, is try getting hold of a cheap second hand Beo4 remote? You could probably find one for about £50-70 and I'm sure there's someone out there who would pay £400-500 for that BV5, which would cover the cost of buying a cheap remote. Indeed, as it's so cheap at £200, our first reaction is that it surely can't be a working BV5.

To many, that translates to "probably not working today".  Take moxxey's advice and get a used Beo4.
