I guess nobody is paying attention to Bang & Olufsen on Facebook.  They have announced an event on September 3rd called Transformations.  Is this a product launch?

It is about the material that B&O use and love - aluminium.

And about the new opaz coloured BL12 and the BV12, that was press released a while ago.

Thanks for the information.  I missed that press release.  I am assuming that the meaning of Topaz in the press release means grey aluminum.  I actually might like that color.

B&O are Great at Aluminium, appreciate your skills, mastery and dedication to this art form.

Now could you use the same tenacity to developing a desirable,up to date multi room music system with an easy to use GUI Wink

Hi StUrrock,

please define what you mean by a "up to date multi room music system...".

Well I can't speak for myself, but everyone at work who's interested in this has bought a Sonos.

Utilising an IPad and being wireless, it gives them a familiar user interface and minimal installation disruption. You could call them lazy, but their view is why make it difficult!

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

I have for some years now had a Squeezebox Touch connected to my AusioMaster, which gives me 'multiroom' - but not just for the Squeeze-music controlled by Squeezepad/iPad, but also from my usual 'old' sources CD/LP/Radio. Actually the Squeeze is connected to my Plamaker (line-in) since last year. This also gives me 'multiroom AirPlay (TuneIn Radio and Spotify...).

And of cource I use the speakers of my BV's in that setup as well.

That is called true 'multiroom'.

You don't have to turn your back on B&O to use 'up to date' multiroom-audiosourses!

P.S. Sorry - linder - for hijacking your thread. I hope you got your aswer about the 'Transformations'.

We will soon hear/see more.

Greetings Millemissen

..............which reinforces B&O's most relevant offering is active speakers - the source could be anything but a B&O system taking digital (wireless, or wired)  audio and projecting it through signature, well designed speakers is their only clear future, .................I fear their TV's, will be pretty but always behind the curve!!

Ban boring signatures!

"B&O's most relevant offering is" the Beo4 and the concept behind it!
