Hej, there is an offer of DKK 10,000?!?!?

I know this old radio is rare but it is not in perfect condition and maybe even not working.

One month ago there was a same radio type (Master 39K) on gulog.dk for 200DKK

Strange...

Ouhhh, I didn't notice that. Very interesting Wink

Maybe the Lauritz-people were not satisfied with the latest sales and now they ordered 2 marketing experts to manage the problem Surprise

I'm not sayin that this is a bad item - not at all - but this is one strange
auction house. Buyer beware and check the items before bidding!
And as long as the auction house place bids on the items themselves (shill bidding, that is), I
remain reluctant to bidding on anything there at all.

Their "estimates" are based on pure guesswork. I can't see why they have
those "estimates" in the first place. They never match the ending price anyways.

Nice units nonetheless, at least what you can see is nice.

In my experience, a nice Master Deluxe 39K should be in the DKK 3000-5000 range.
It's not a particularly rare model but it's a friendly design (compared to other
brands models of the late 1930s) and being the first set with pre-tuned pushbuttons
for user convienience makes it collectable.

I agree 100 % !!

When I saw the bidding on the Master 39K, I was wondering,  what is going on ?

Nevertheless, an enamel B&O company sign has been advertised on a Danish site.

I've contacted the seller and he has send me a message, asking price in the range of 1000 Euro.

Certainly not a bargain.

There were 3 B&O enamels reproduced in the last few years in Germany. They are high quality enamels and were made in limited numbers.

2 were I believe copies of posters, one of a girl ice skating and the other a girl jumping into a pool. The 3rd was one with just the letters B&O. No sure why they were made but they show up on ebay for under 100€.
