Beosound 5/Beomaster 5 connects to Beovision 7-40 mark 6

Have just bought a used Beosound/Beomaster 5 system and trying to wire up to my TV. Have connected via a master link cable and the Beosound 5 and Beomaster 5 are connected. Beo 4 remote works well enough, but stuck. Do I need to connect anything else to the TV or do I need to reprogramme the Beosound 5?

Help please!

I have a Beosound 5 but don't know that I know enough about it to help you. Could you clarify what the problem is and I will try if I can to help.

I've a master link going into the TV from the BeoMaster 5. All the leads going from the BeoSound 5 to the BeoMaster 5. The settings on the BeoSound 5 for NMusic are via A.Mem on the Beo4 remote. However I can't seem to get any sound? Perhaps it's the settings on the BeoSound 5?

Have you checked the option programming of the tv? Might be that you have to press "av" + a.mem.

You have no BeoLabs' on the BM/BS5 - right?

You want to play through the BV?
