Hello Peter and Svend fans,

This is my question of the day.

I have a BV10 with a PS3 hooked up and RE-BL control that works perfectly.

I press DVD on the Beo4 (with navigation wheel) and the PS3 fires up and I get access to the Youtube app with both great sound and vision (compared to the old Youtube on the PS3 navigator).

When I search for a video with the Beo4, I can let the "little button" go from a letter to an other letter without pressing several times (I can go from letter A to letter Z just letting my finger on the "little button" and not pressing it 25 times to the right).

That is great and easy.

Now, I go to my good ol' parents place with my kids and my young daughter whants Gangnam style on the telly (BV11).

Press DTV on the Beo4 (with navigation wheel of course) and the Youtube app.

On the search fonction (same as the PS3 app) I have to press several times the navigation wheel to the right or to the left to select the letters I whant. Letting my finger on it doesn't work like on my BV10.

It's incredible the the BV11 doesn't react like the BV10 !

Maybe the RE-BL makes the difference or am I missing something ?

Sometimes it will happen that the infrared sensor is not placed exactly on the infrared eye. Then commands can be delayed, or even not good working.

Tip: try to find out if the placement of the cable is correct. You can try it it by moving the infrared eye on the PUC-cable. Is your tv setup with the the navigation on the Beo4 correct installed?

A cover from STB will sometimes help.

To be clearer, the problem is not on the BV10 with puc and RE-BL but on the BV11 which don't have a puc for the smart media (included in the tv).

I haven't found a tv setup for the navigation button on the bv11 and presumed it had none.

Is there a service menu on Bv11 to check ?

Thanks by advance.

Gregory

Can't understand why the Youtube app is so slow for searching on the Bv11.

Can someone check please ?!

I would (and did) pair the app to a phone or tablet and use the big keyboard on there for searching.  I have never used the remote to search the BV11 youtube app, but if I remember when home later I will give it a try.

beosound 5/BM5 , beosystème 4500 , 4 beolab 3 , beolab 7.2 , beolab 5000 , beovision 7-40 mkIII , beovision av 9000 , beolab 3500, beolab 2000, IWS 2000

The Bv11 as wifi.

It had the flashing "charging" problem that disapeared after an update.

Your 11 is fine. Mine does the same in any Beo 4 mode. Using the iPad app is the best for it or simply use the Youtube direct connect feature from your iOS device.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

All right, thank you.

RE-BL made it better than B & O then !

Not: "RE-BL made it better than B & O then"

The RE-BL does nothing in that case - the external device/s does it better!

B&O certainly has something to improve here.

What is the use of a built-in SmartTV function, if even the Youtube-app doesn't work smooth?

That´s it, whith the latest update on the BV11 (spotify) you also have a scroll fonction on Youtube.

Now the search is easy.

Great from B & O to permanently upgrade the products.

Can't wait for the delivery of my blue BV 11 on next saturday...
