I've got a Beomaster 1000, that got noise coming from the left channel. First off, I thought it was the speakers but it's the same with headphones plugged in. And it's the same sound when I change from Speakers I to Speakers II. The sound is not that loud, and is almost never even audible when listening to music. But it's there, and it bothers me :) The scratchy noise is exactly the same when I change the volume knob to minimum or maximum volume. Though when I lower the treble to minimum the noise is not audible. Anyone who has any suggestions what it might be, and how to fix it?

Most likely a noisy small signal transistor in the preamp or output stage of the affected channel.
Could also be a dying capacitor.
