Hi ,I just joined this forum in the hope of getting some help upgrading my RL 45's, 60.2 and 7000 speakers.

I want to replace the foams and upgrade the electronics where necessary. Also advise on the minmum power they need would be excellent.

Cheers.

Search the forum and the Archived forum, there are a lot of threads about it, nearly all B&O passive speakers can be driven with amps from 5 watts and upwards

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

I had RL 7000's.  They sounded like rubbish to me off a beocenter 9500.  I think they need a meaty amp to make them sing (100 watts a channel), of course any amp can run them, but they will not sound great.  The only thing powerful enough in the bang & olufsen range to run them is the old 8000 amp.
