Dear All,

I recently purchased a beocenter 7000 and everything is working allright.
However when i listen for about 15 minutes, the cooling fin on the rear is getting so hot, it shuts down the system.

When it's cool again, everything works until it gets hot again.

Any suggestions?
i can make photo's if needed.

Thanks!

It gets so hot so you can actually take photos of it ?  Surprise

Idle current trimmers and adjusting would be my guess.

Martin,

I can make a video from me burning my finger when i hold the cooling fin:) Or frying some bacon on it.

I'll have a look at the service manual then,
Or do you know where these are located?

Thanks!

I just measured the voltage on the 3 trimmers in the amp. Here's a picture with my measures.
Isn't R12 supposed to give 6,5V?

Does anybody seeing a problem?

At my working 7002 without heating problem the R224 measures 0,57V and R124 0,50V while playing music, both 0V when standby. The R12 measures 1,35V. At my working 7002, the trimmers go back to 0V faster than my hot 7000.

What is the thing/stuff arount every transistor at my BC7000? I can't find that stuff on my 7002. Thanks.
