Hi all,
Had a bit of a problem with the doors not closing properly since one was at a slight slant. Consulting the service manual got me to a point where I've opened it all up, taken the doors and front black panels off etc.
Can anyone help advise me how to get the metal cables in the right place as one end isn't even attached?
Help please! :-)
Welcome to the forum, manuals are onsite for silver and gold members,
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
As a former gold member I have this manual already (thanks for posting the relevant section). The problem I have is I don't really understand what I have to do as I don't think it's that straight forward.
Was really hoping for a more straightforward explanation from someone whose done it
I've done it several times, re-string a 2300/3000 that is!
It's still not straghtforward and I still have to follow the instructions gived in the manual.
Regards Graham
Any online tutorials or articles other than the page from the manual above?
Any help or advice would be gratefully received as I've had another go today and can't even get the wire onto the runners. The manual doesn't even make it clear whether to approach the repair from the front or back (picture appears to be the front I think)

Me to Graham, have the same experiences! Same thing for BC9000 etc. Lots of patience, that's what you need!

It is definitely done from the front and the picture is a front view.
There is no other info around that I know of and it is so long since I had to do it, I am not really qualified to help you.
Patience is the key!
