Hello.

I have a Beocenter 2200 with a MMC5 and  a Beocenter 7700 with a MMC2

Is it possible to use the MMC5 on the 7700?

the condition of the MMC5 is way better and my 7700 is my preferable.

If yes ? how do I remove the pickup?, just to pull it out ?

Yes, they are fully interchangable. Just pull it out to remove.

Yes you can, they are fully interchangeable.

To remove, you just pull it out. Very carefully of course. It may be a bit tight if it has been sitting there for 20+ years untouched.

And remember to change the tracking force and antiskating setting (if it's possible to).   And hold the tone arm stationary with your other hand when pulling out the cartridge.    btw, an MMC-2 is far superior to a bottom-of-the-line MMC-5.  But it sounds as if your MMC2 suffers from cantilever suspension degradation, a common problem.

Axel can make the MMC5 into a MMC2 - or could repair the MMC2.
