Hi, my next door neighbour has a BM5500 without the MCP, we have managed to get volume, bass treble and sound settings stored fine with a BL1000 - but unable to tune in and store radio stations as I don't know what the process is.
I looked at the manuals but there are only set up manuals for BM5500 6500 7000 etc and I seem to recal that there should be something that translates MCP controls to BL1000. Anyhelp would be much appreciated
Did you try this (found on the Archive Forum):
tuning and saving radio stations :RADIO on Beolink 1000.Press GO TO, press frequency (0-9), or use arrows < / > [after goto-frequency, you'll have to wait a while before the Beomaster decides that you won't be entering any more digits. Only after that it'll actually tune. I was too fast at first... It also wants the tenths always, i.e. to get 104 MHz you'll need to key 1-0-4-0.
To store: press STORE, then the number you want to store it to,then STORE again.
(i haven't used a Beolink 1000 with Beomaster 6500 for a long time, so i'm not 100% sure this is correct....)
Hope this helps
Ralf

On the BL1000, there is button called "Goto".
AFAIK use Goto followed by the frequency.
