first i have to say it is such a beautiful machine, and it blew me away for the few minutes it was working before it blew its fuses.. ¶ im completely motivated to get it working again, and have a few questions about its current condition. ¶ inside and out it is very clean, the volume pot was sending the speaker cones all over the place when adjusted though, im guessing they just need a clean out.. ¶ i noticed that when it was on it was pulling my speaker cones in a noticable amount, and holding them there. does anybody know what might be doing this? ¶ when the fuses did blow, there was quite a bit of heat on the left hand side of the case which looked like the little panel of 5w resistors screwed to that side were the cause of. it was quite hot to the touch right after the fuses blew. is this a sign of anything in particular? ¶ i just got back from the shop with some new fuses, but i bought fast blow, which flashed and burnt instantly on power on, and i saw somewhere on google that slow blow is ok to put in it? ¶ any of your help is appreciated hugely! [ps i cant seem to get the post to hold its line spacing...]
