Hi again,

Am still looking for dustcover for my old Beogram 42VF. According to original B&O catalog it was possible to order this dustcover on extra demand (please see attached pic) and there are very few of them on the market. Unfortunately the cover of the BG1000 does not match the 42VF Sad

Is there any other B&O turntable model with matching dustcover?

Anybody selling one of them?

Thanks in advance

Why not get one made? - I had one made for my 3000 to fit the 12" arm - though Frede actually very generously sent me an even better one later. You could put a cut out in it so that it would play with the lid on, something an original will not do.

Hi Peter,

yes, this is always the option. But you know, I would have an original :-)))

But of course it will be very difficult to find it and if I can't  than I will consider to get one made. And of course the biggest advantage would be that it would play with the lid on, as you sugested... Hmmm, I will think about it ...

Do you know somebody here on BW who could make it?

Hi Leslie,

nice cover. Have you made it yourselves or got it made?

I'm not sure if a dust cover was available for the 42v. The brochure you show says 42v then beogram 1000. Could it be that they are talking about the dust cover for the 1000. I have a brochure that covers the 42v and it definitely doesn't mention one and also I'm not sure if one would fit, the plinth doesn't seem to have any room at the edges for a cover to sit on.

Of course I could be totally wrong and Martin will post a picture of one!

Hi again,

I think this photo could be a proof that the dust cover exists indeed.

Though on the pic is the 610VF to be seen, this model have a same dimensions as my 42VF.

Looking forward ...
