Hi everyone.i am new to this forum and have been recommended to make contact with you. Here's the problem.
Last thursday whilst in bed, Burglars broke into my house. not only did they take my wifes Iphone and mine together with my laptop, camera's kindle fire and other things including a gift wrapped for a new born baby, they disconnected and stole my beloved B and O system.
If anyone offers you or you know of a Beosound 9000 with RDS serial number 18890181 or a pair of beolab 8000 speakers serial number 18937119 please don't buy them. contact the Police and report it. Alternatively send me an E-mail and put me out of my misery.
Iphones and laptops are ten a penny but not my beloved b and o.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Andy H.
HI
Sorry for this bad news. I don't know if your beosound was a mk3 and pin protected, if not it will be easily sold .
You should declare it stolen to B&o, maybe someday when the unit will be repaired, you wil have a chance to recover it.
I always use the code pin protection , take pictures of the label...
Best regards
Olivier

Hi Andy,
That's a nightmare mate!!!!
Where are you based as I guess they will be selling them around that area?
Jonnie
Hi Andy, very sorry to hear that!As already said: Go to your B&O dealer and tell them the serial no. to be transmitted to B&O so that the device is in the database! Please tell us in which country you live so that the local buyers can be aware of that!
We're also on the lookout..
The speakers will be easy to sell for them, but the 9000 is PIN Coded so hopefully you didn't turn off this feature?
Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
Lee
Assuming you're based in the UK...
The MET police told me there is a national website where you can register any serial number for all your gadgets.
Good luck.
Beoworld app with direct photo upload and emoticons.
Thanks Lee,
Sorry for the slow reply. I've had to borrow a laptop as ours was stolen. I'm using my sons laptop to check E-mails and this site as I'm not allowed to use works computers re security etc. Yes My 9000 is factory pin protected so hopefully that may thwart them.
Pin wasn't disabled. I just hope that there isn't some bright spark out there with something to unlock it.
Take care.
Where are you???
Andy please contact me gian6498@gmail.com I have information about your stolen 9000.
OP hasn't been visiting Beoworld since 2013.I have emailed him and asked him to visit this thread.
