beocord V8000 and beovision 7-40 MKIV

Hello guys,

does any one of you use a beocord  connected to a beovision 7-40 full HD (or latest), and if yes, how would you describe the resulting picture.

I am planning to buy one to read some old tapes I have but want to be sure not to be too much disappointed.

Used one with a BV10-40 - not wonderful but probably what you would expect. Certainly watchable - think SD transmissions on analogue so grainy. I have to confess to never using my V8000 these days, or indeed VX5000, VX7000 or even Beocord 8800V!!
