Time for tea

Ok slightly off the boil question.

What do you have in your kitchen ? Most of my appliances are the series I Siemens Porsche range and in my mind worthy B&O compadres but recently I had to replace my kettle and opted for Jacob Jensen's design which I am slightly disappointed with.

Any other contenders worth thinking about ?

My kettle and toaster are both by Dualit.  Made to last - and they still look brand new after 5 years of daily use..

My kitchen bins, bread bin, jars etc all match my Dualit perfectly and are made by a company called "Wesco" if anyone has heard of them? Again, very good quality.

I´m not into designer kitchen, more for functionality and quality, I cook a lot myself. So pots and pans mainly Le Creuset, some cast iron skillets, coffee maker with grinder, toaster, small oven and Big Mixer Cuisinart, Fridge Whirlpool, of course with ice maker, (for my cubas) (going on 18 years now) Stove, extractor and dishwasher Bosch, some more small appliances from Cuisinart, cutlery Zwilling, and most of it all is in use daily, weekly and also more than 10 years old. Had to change the grinder basket in the coffee maker 2nd time now this year, we make about 10 pots of coffee a week, so the basket only last for about 2500 brews

Once in a while I do like a cup of tea, the Mexicans then ask me, very worried: Whats wrong, you sick, dont you feel good.

Not so sure about the Dualit kettle. When ours failed we found that it could not be repaired because of the way it had been manufactured. Personally I think Dualit are trading on the reputation of their original very robust (and repairable) toasters. 

Our kettle is now a Bosch.

Coffee comes from a Bugatti ( not the car!) Bugatti make very robust and stylish coffee machines, but their back-up and spares service in the UK is hopeless.

I do like the look of a magimix toaster!

Don't drink tea, but my coffee maker is Moccamaster. Other appliances are Siemens.
