Can we order a B&O version of the Oppo BDP-103 blu-ray player ?
I know there is a B&O version of the older BDP-93, but what about the BDP-103, which seems to be one of the best blu-ray player ?
I have a BeoVision 10 and an old entry level Panasonic player, which is good (quality of blu-rays OK, no pana logo on the boot, PUC control,...), but the upscaler for the old DVDs is not fantastic.
So, i'm very interested in the Oppo model.
I know some BeoWorlders have got this model, but is it a B&O version ?
Thanks.

i am guessing that the only difference between an Oppo player and a B&O branded version might be the static page on switching on without a DVD in place. The Cambridge puts up its own static page..... It is fully controllable via the Beo4.... But check that other thread re the particular models and codes.
I was not aware of a later B&O branded Oppo when I bought my Cambridge.

There is no B&O branded OPPO!
The only difference is the missing OPPO ligo/screensaver.
You should be able to order that version through your B&O dealer.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
OK,
Thanks guys. I'll ask to my dealer when i will go to see the new BeoLabs...
I, too, have the Oppo player and highly recommend it. On their website, you can buy as an accessory a Roku stick for about $50 USD to add Roku functionality via the same Oppo PUC.
Rather than opting for the B&O version (which merely removes the Oppo logo from the start-up screen and does NOT add a B&O logo), you might want to run a search on ebay for the region-free modified versions. That is what I have. The modified versions will play ANY DVD or blu-ray from anywhere in the world. In my opinion, this really adds great value to the Oppo player.
Also, the Oppo player can play DVD-A and SACD discs, delivering stunning sound. There is even a "pure audio" button that will shut off the video to insure there are no distortions caused by video signal interference.
Oppo has a great app for control by your iOS devices, too.
