Hello

Do you know the exact cut-off frequency for a subwoofer output on a beovision 7 (beosystem 3) ?

Can it be modified ?

There is no special cut-off frequency on .1 channel. The channel is not a typical subwoofer channel, there is no crossover in BV7, it`s an LFE channel (low frequency enhancement). Actually in some cases there is a cut-off frequency that depends on the encoding format. As far as I remember Dolby digital and Dolby surround modes are limited to 120 Hz. Lossless surround formats like Dolby True HD and DTS HD master have full bandwidth on .1 channel. In the studios during post-production (mixing) process the LFE channel is always full bandwidth. During encoding to different formats this channel will be limited. But it`s nothing about BV7.
