Thanks for the info! Would like to see a picture but I am also not sure how to post a picture from a phone.

This is great news - if Spotify would go lossless it would be perfect.
How about the BeoRemote-app? Is that/will that be updated too - to get navigation direct within the app?
One way of posting pictures is to add it when pushing the 'Reply' button (not the 'Quick Reply').
But you must get the photos to your Pc/mac first - easiest way is using a cloudservice.
If an Android phone all you need is a usb-cable to the pc.
There are cloudservices that create an ip-adress for a picture.
This one you then would have to put in between two IMG's with [...] around them - the ... stands for IMG
Sorry, only way ro descibe it - otherweise it won't show in the post
Lke this:
The adress of the picture was: http://maloki.se/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/spotify.png
Greetings MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Thanks Martin,
but how can you navigate then?
Old story with creating 'playlists' on another device/in the Spotify-app first, then???
MM
You can navigate using the Beo4 or the RemoteApp. Playlists are avaiable butyou can also search artists, songs etc. When searching a small keyboard pops up, where you have to punch in the letters individually using the navigation buttons. The RemoteApp does not give you a keyboard for that. Other than this it works extremely well, very responsive application with a decent layout - a nice addition indeed.

Mine works with the Beo 4 using CD, but my access to "list" functions so i can change the sound function to music, or mute the screen are not there.
If you have Apple TV this App, just like Youtube is largely irrelevant and nowhere as easy to use as using a Mini Ipad etc.
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
On my BV11 the "SPOTIFY" has been added under the Source List - two spots under WEBMEDIA and having CD assigned to it.
Hi
is a premium account mandatory for using it ?
4 beolab 5, beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2, 2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...
yes, according to the software update description you must have the premium account.
Of cource it is nice to have Spotify as a service direct in the new BV's - because you don't need an iDevice and the ATV-box (or the BS/BM5).
Although many V1/BV11-owners have the ATV, not all have an iPad.
But navigating with the Beo4 in the keyboard (just like in the menu of the ATV) isn't the easiest way - especially if you are someone who mostly search for artists and/or albums rather than choosing an avaible playlist.
Untill a descent searchfunction integrated in the BeoRemote-app will come, I would prefer to use the Spotify-app airplaying to a screen-muted BV/ATV. Seems a bit more comfortable.
A tip for those who have lost their iPad to their wifes.
Christmas is coming....buy her one as a present 💏
Having two or more NL-BV's with Spotify running on one of them would mean that you can hear the same on the NL-BV/BV's in the other room(s)???
Am I right?
Anyone with two NL-BV's can confirm this?
Hi Räuber,
Try WiMP Hifi. Lots of Zeppelin there - and in lossless quality.
WiMP is not supported by B&O, but it doesn't matter to you, as you would NEVER buy a new B&O-tv
And it is losless quality.
Beatles is a problem, I know - but getting WiMP (or Spotify) does not mean that you have to get rid of your beloved CD's.
Greetings Millemissen
Yep - it can be assigned to whatever sources/buttons you have available.
Whats wrong with it?
Tonker:Whats wrong with it? Beovision 11-46, Beovision 8-26, Beovision 3-32, Avant RF 28, Beosound 8, Beolit 12, Beocom 2, Beotime, H6 and Form 2, Beo 4's and a 6.

.....Unless you could hang it (or more of them in different rooms) on the wall and Beo4-control some of the basic functions as well.
Or how about a BeoPad with an 'Immaculate Wireless Sound transmitter' built in?
What are the chances of this coming to the playmaker? Since it's already possible on the beoplay A9?
Mace: What are the chances of this coming to the playmaker? Since it's already possible on the beoplay A9?
PlayMaker as well as A9, both use the Airplay utility for now. For the A9 there soon will be Spotify Connect, later this year. Spotify Connect looks great. No more Airplay (with possible dropouts), but the wifi devices are only used as a controller.
On topic: I don’t think the Spotify API on smart TV’s do support an external keyboard. Other brands like Samsung have the same problem. So it looks like Spotify is limited to the on-screen keyboard which is not efficient enough to search.
But if you can live with managing your playlists on a PC/Mac and use it on the Beovisions this is a nice upgrade. If you don’t follow Chris’s advice and get some extra hardware like Sonos, Apple TV, PlayMaker etc..
If you share speakers then yes you can have multiple NLBV's playing the same spotify. Or Playmaker to NL converter on the network will do the same if your looking for a more proper way of doing it.
Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there
Thanks for the answer.
What would be the command(s) if you want to hear the Spotfy playing on the BV on another on the NL as well?
On Beo4 and on BeoRemote?
Actually I was asking about a pure NL-setup (with no converter involved).
Millemissen: Actually I was asking about a pure NL-setup (with no converter involved). MM
You can do it with no converter, by sharing the speakers in the source list. No dedicated button for it though as those sources are only available when they are On and on the network. If your purely listening you can then P.Mute the screen and listen only.
It seems a bit complicated (if you are used to the ML-way).
Your tip to use the converter/line-in/Playmaker would be far more convenient....
Even my wife could do that - which is the ultimate test!

agreed. If you occasionally have people over, use spotify, and want a somewhat of party mode that's the cheap solution over getting a converter.

and once again legal & copyright bullsh*it is preventing further innovation :-(
