I have an early to mid 90's Beocenter 2500 in the US. I am currently overseas where the voltage is 240 volts and 50 Hz. Will the 2500 run on a transformer? Will it operate on 50 Hz?

It is possible to rewire the transformer inside the BC2500. No extra transformer is needed then. But then again when it is temporarily, then an external transformer would indeed be the solution and will work.
