I have just bought a Mozart requiem in FLac 24/96 from LInnrecord and I have a lot of blow during the listening.I have this requiem in wma (cd quality) and I have no problem at all.
I can't test it on another player, just my heaphone on my pc and in this case it seems to work perfectly.
This blow is present when I use speaker with masterlink or directly onthe bm5.
Very disappointed for my first FLAC buy.

If the Encore plays FLAC 24/96, why not the BS5?

I have some test FLAC 24/96 files from NAIM and Linn and everything works fine.
Definetely, 24/192 files don't work.
I am going to download the files again and if it doesn't play fine, I will contact Linn.
If I have to hang myself tonight, this little detail will annoy me a lot !

I have downloaded their files twice, and I have still this problem.
