I made a cable to connect to the Aux DIN input & it has a lot of hum & the signal level is low. I am hooking up an iPod output of headphone jack & with the iPod vol set near max, the B&O volume is over 50 for low listening level. There is a lot of hum in both channels too. The cable I built is connected to the proper input pins 3 & 5 signal & 2 gnd. I do wonder if the shield on the connector should be at gnd. Any assistance is appreciated. BTW I have never used this input until now.
Please disregard. Must have been a poorly inserted connector. Was prepared to check it today & was ready to get to the bottom of the grounding/hum issue. Plugged it all in & it was fine. Still quite a bit lower level out of the iPod & BT receiver when compared to the radio, but no hum!
Thanks,
