Spotify connect in B&O

I know that the A9 is comming with Spotify Connect, but are there any other products on the way, with this feature ?

Beosound 5, or the new playmaker ?

As a massive Spotify fan I really hope we see this. It would solve all my Airplay issues! I'm hoping it's just a software update away?

But the fact that they have made a splash about it coming to A9 makes me wonder if there is a hardware difference between this and A8/BeoLit 12.

I think BS5 is probably capable of anything given that it basically has a full Windows platform and a PC inside.

There is a video now in the Three New Products thread in which Spotify Connect now being included on B and O TVs is mentioned and shown briefly.

I heard that too - but didn't he just mean 'Spotify'.

Haven't heard anything about the Spotify Connect yet.

I watched the video again to see if anything the TV screen might clarify it. But it just says Spotify.

I did notice at another point the BV65 was displaying features and it listed "magical light guide"

Is that the term they use for the green power indicator?

Probably how it ('the green power indicator') behaves when connecting to the transmitter/configuring.

It should be fairly easy to impliment Spotify Connect in Beosound 5, as this is a Windows based machine..
