Has anyone else noticed more bass, especially with the subwoofer, when watching movies on the BeoSystem 3 in cinema mode? I've been wondering if it's just my mind perceiving the sound to be "bigger" to accommodate the large projector screen or if it's an intentional feature of the BeoSystem 3 in cinema mode.

Hi Jeff, on a BeoSystem 3 you set the sound for normal viewing, and then you can set the sound either the same or differently for cinema mode. To do this, just press cinema and then when your projector is on go in to the sound settings - if you make changes they won't affect the TV mode.

You might find there is a more 'bass-y' setting in your BeoSystem 3 in cinema mode but I'm not aware that there is an inbuilt low frequency boost 'as standard'.

It makes perfect sense to program it in though - I'll bear that in mind for other BeoSystem 3 cinema systems!

Regards,

Martin
