I have a Beovison 7 as video master. I have Sky connected. There is an MX4002 and a Beovision 6 both of which receive Sky through the ML cabling. I have an Apple TV connected to the second HDMI socket on the BV7 and it works really well. It is set as PC. However I cannot get it to come though to any of the other TVs.
It either isn't possible, or I'm missing something. Any suggestions?

You have a nice setup.
You should be able to get the ATV's audio through to the other rooms (if the BV7 is up to date) - just try pressing (say) [AV} and then [DVD] (if that is what the ATV source is defined as).
However I do not believe you will get the digital picture sent through - just the digital audio was convert to analogue audio and sent through.
And when you said that the BV7 sends it video through ML I believe you were wrong; you must wither be using the B&O RF Modulator that sends the BV7s video through a coax that runs parallel with the ML, or you must have an aerial splitter ?
Options that spring to mind that you might consider or want to debate are:
(a) using an original ATV on the BV7 - the one with a hard drive, it would output an analogue video - but I would not recommend investing in technology that is so "old" to be you main driver of content
(b) buying a second ATV if the BV6 has a DVI port - and an HDMI to DVI cable and a parallel audio cable from the ATV to the BV6 - you should find a couple of threads about such a setup. I have separate ATVs attached to my BVs and that seems an ideal solution (for me).
(c) however for the MX only an old/original ATV would work - as you will need analogue connections
(d) look at something other than an Apple TV (depends where your content is coming from) such as a Western Digital device - again though you will have to find one that outputs an analogue video signal for the MX
Hopefully others will weigh in and correct any mistakes / assumptions I have made !

Thanks. I'll digest that and see if I can work it through. You are correct about the Sky set up - the video is distributed by co-ax and that will be the problem with the Apple TV.
