Some time ago I saw a pair of old active studio monitor  for sale in Sweden made by B&O, and some days ago I saw an 19" echo unit for sale ( thats how seller described it, I would guess it is a spring reverb )

I would asume these derives from special designed products for DR, Danish Radio?

I guess because I know Swedish radio and TV have had lots of equipment special made for them over the decades by different swedish audio equipent factories.

And correct me if I am  wrong, AR? or was it B&W have special designed speaker for BBC once up in a time.

Of pure curiosity, do anyone know more about which audio products B&O did at the side of the consumer products ?

Is there any documentation ? , or do anyone know atleast anyhing about this?

The BBC had a number of speaker designs made by a variety of companies - the best known is the nearfield monitor LS3/5A - I use a pair in combination with the AB1 sub-woofers. Sound very like Quad ESL speakers without some of the placement issues (but still with some!!)

B&O made a lot of test equipment - Leslie and martin can fill you in on what was available. B&O also made cinema equipment - have you got a copy of Sound & Vision ?

Yes it is. I wish I had a copy.

Then there is another book written by an outsider on the ethos of B&O.

The big B&O books are regularly in the Beoworld prize draw and are also available from a dealer. Wonderful pictures!
