My old and much loved Beomaster 1900 Amplifier (at least 25 years + old)has started to malfunction--very fluctuating sound level or very low sound. Seems I think, to be loose connection inside the unit or some internal bit now not functioning properly .
Does anyone know of a company or individual that might repair a B&O machine this old?
Somewhere in the South East of UK would be most accessible for me but anywhere in the Midlands down to the South coast would feasible.
Thanks
Brico
Can second AVA in Crawley did a great job with my beomaster 4500
If you have no luck, member solderon29 (Nick) is VERY good at the vintage stuff. He's in the West Midlands, so you'd have to post it though I haven't seen him on here for a few months.
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.
Many Thanks Beaker, Stonk and Badgersurf for your responses. Have been in touch with AVA who say parts are not available for my old Beomaster 1900--but they are willing to have a look at it to see what seems to be the prob. So will take it down to Crawley in a week or two.
thanks again.
