Is it possible to use a playmaker with a beosound 1???

i,also have a pair of beolab 4000 I'm just confused as how I would hook it up with either of these

the  beosound 1  has an aux socket but  I'm not sure if the playmaker will work with it

as for the beolab 4000 speakers I only have the speakers and don't know how I the playmaker will work with these

Hi chris,

you can use both - but not at the same time Stick out tongue

The Playmaker has PowerLink-outputs, so you can connect any BeLab to it.

You control it with the Beo4 and direct on the PM (some functions).

And you can connect the Playmaker to the AUX-in of the BS1.

You need an adapter-cable (from your B&O-dealer or from Steve - Sounds Heavenly) for this, and the PM must be in Option 0./line mode

This means that you control the sound via the BS1.

The PM autoswitches the sources (AirPlay/DLNA/Line-in).

No problem really.

Thanks! I'm sure the sound will be stronger on the beolab 4000 speakers but I may be wrong

years ago I used to hook up an iPod to my beosound 1 via the aux in and the sound was rather weak

maybe with the playmaker it will sound better...

If you have both, use the BL4000's - you won't regret it.
