What is the difference between a Beovision 1LS and a Beovision 1 with a Masterlink module installed?

Hello,

The BeoVision 1 LS is a 'Link Slave' model, meaning that it can only be a slave to a master TV unit.

The BeoVision 1 with a MasterLink module (or BeoVision 1 L "Link") can either be used as a slave OR used as a Video Master alongside other BeoVision televisions and BeoSound audio products.

Ah!

So in my application (slave to an Avant) I could use either, but the 1L could be more useful than the 1LS if I later have to get rid of the Avant (heaven forbid!!)

Yes, definitely! The LS can be used as a stand-alone - it just can't 'run' any further equipment. Smile
