Dear members,
I'm about to buy a Beovision 7 32'' with beolab 7.1. I already have an Ouverture linked to a beolab 2 and from the outputs of B2 I go to my BL 6000.
If I masterlink my Ouverture with the beovision 7 I will need to plug my BL6000 to the beovision and the B2 as well.
In a such configuration where both BL6000 and BL2 are plugged to the BV7, is the BL2 is doing the same job as a low range frequency filter ?
Are there members here with this configuration or similar and if you could give me your advises it would be great.
Thanks !
Franck
Connect all your BeoLabs to the BV7; each speakers has it's own PowerLink socket (although the BL6000 can be daisy chained). Plug the BL2 into the "Subwoofer" socket.
The BeoVision 7 should be put in Option 2; the Ouverture in Option 0
Also.. it is advised to put the BL2 in setup "3" (switches located on the bottom of the BL2) when connected to a system with a surround module
Finally... don't forget to "activate" the BL2 in the speaker setup menu of the BV7.
Your BeoVision 7 will take care of everything that's connected and will do the correct low range frequency.
Karel.
