now when playing music, irealize that I might have a antiskating problem,as i have slightly more record crackle and noise in one channel.

This beocenter was fitted with an MMC2 when I bought it, difference in antisakting between the bundled MMC3?, just need adjustment with time maybe ?

Anyway...due to the servicemanual it shows a image that should identify where the adjustment is,butt his image just confuses me...where is it ?

i cant find anything that looks like this under the platter

under the  record deck inservice mode?, in that case how do you adjust then when recordmachine is
45degrees, what´s the trick?
?

I'd say its more likely to be a worn stylus than the anti-skate setting.

Do you get more crackling/distortion on one channel with all your records or just some?

Try a new record if you've got one as it could be groove damage caused by being played with a misaligned or damaged stylus in the past. I've got thousands of records and quite a few I've bought second hand have this problem.

Thanks Lee

Tried with a record that is played maximun 10 times with very thin music where individual tones of the music is very exposed.

one of the channel perfect, like it should be clear, and the other channel sound abit distorted, just like the pickup cant track..

Would want to have the antiskating possibilty out of the way of eventual cause.

Found it, it was just difficult to read that image. The stud is accable with turntble in service mode, and it is close to arms centerpoint.

Perfect antiskating in this case with mmc2 was to move the stud to the end, closest to arm.
Now it tracks perfect.
