Hi guys,

Does anybody happen to have the file of the original image on the HDD inside the BeoSound 3200? I have bought one used where the HDD has been removed completely Sad. The seller said that the harddrive was faulty so I assumed it would still be located inside the BS, but apparently it is not there at all...

Best regards,

Frederik

I think your problem is a little more complex than just adding a new disk with an image.

The reason is that the EEPROM has to also be updated with the serial number of the new disk using Test Mode 78

The Service Tool Software used by the B&O dealer will format and update the CODEC module.

So, I think you will need to get the assistance of your local B&O repair centre or dealer.

Regards Keith....

Hello Keith,

Thank you for the info - much apreciated. So that means that I will have to pay both for the HDD itself and for the B&O technician Sad? That will no doubt not be cheap. I guess I just got myself a funky looking "BeoSound 3000".... Luckily I did not pay more than the standard pre-owned price for the BS3000
