I'm hoping someone can help.

When I switch on my Beomedia 1 it just beeps at me, the beeps are intermittent and I get nothing on the screen. I have tried changing the power supply but no difference at all, anybody have any clues what this is?

Thanks

Dan

Before I sell this for spares, has anyone experienced this problem and fixed it?

Thanks

Dan

It still can be a powerfaillure.

On the DC-DC board inside, caps needs to be changed. Not only the external power supply. (Most likely)

But also a memory problem could cause these beeps. Another memory bank is quickly changed.

It can be a big problem. Selling for parts is the ultimate option...

If further (replacing) help is needed, a pm can be send.

Thank you for the reply, not really my thing trying to repair capacitors etc.  If anyone fancies a project I am happy to sell my Beomedia 1 to a beoworlder. I will place a post in the sell forum.
