I have a BM6000 quad who needs repair. On the Dutch section no one is willing to take this challenge.
Anyone outside who is willing to repair my BM6000 (Martin, Olly or other experts). One thing might be a problem and that's the weight for shipping!
Brengen & Ophalen
Martin did a great job on mine some time ago and still working perfectly/ ;-)
Would not mind replacing my nylon face plate as it has a lot of scratches.
Must have cost you a fortune to ship this heavy beast? Do you remember how heavy it was?
Will ask Martin if he's willing to repair!

According to the product site of BW:
"Weight: 16 kg"

Capable, but time is an issue...(and other waiting repairs/projects)
Olly
I could ship it UK to Holland for £19 plus VAT. Not really a fortune is it?

75 UK pounds from Denmark to the Netherlands.

Sorry for this Martin but I am wondering why you guys from Denmark always use the most expensive danish post office? There is a GLS in Denmark and I am getting my big packages from Denmark always sent over this service. They are cheep and reliably (OK, not really cheep but more cheaper then other). You can send the package over GLS almost half of the price you mentioned. For example the Beomaster 6000 4CH could be sent for 350DKK (or approx. 50€) from DK to NL. Look here:
True if you run a business. But GLS (and DPD, UPS etc.) does not operate for private persons unless you deliver to their pickup points andthe prices there are all more expensive than the royal danish post.
This effectively brakes private exports from Denmark. But I've managed to set up a special deal involving a german courier.Otherwise I wouldn't be able to ship anything anywhere.
My goodness, not only B&O is expensive, postage in DK as well!
Dutch postage is 35,30 euro (10-20kg) to the UK, insured/tracking/sign-for options included.
Olly, you're my man, thanks! I will send you a PM as soon as I'm back home, probably at the end of the week.

Martin, I am not speaking about running the business. The example of shipping costs I posted here is for the private persons.
I have bought 6-7 different B&O vintage devices this year, some of them very big and heavy (like Master de Luxe Present 608 or Mini de Luxe 610) from private persons in Denmark. In the spring this year I had a luck that one very pleasant person from Denmark sent me the package with BM900 and 2 BV800 speakers with GLS and told me about. Till then I got the packages always sent with danish royal post, always very expensive. After that for all new acquisitions I asked kindly every person I contacted if he/she would be nice to send it with GLS. It was always possible!
You are probably right, that you has to bring the package to their pickup points (I presume you have to do it with royal danish post to) but they are everywhere, in every town and as you can see on my screenshot, they are for sure not more expensive then royal danish post. I think you can even give dimensions of your package online and print the parcel slip at home and stick it on the package. All you have to do is to bring them and pay.
I do not know the way the DPD or UPS do their business in DK but as I said, from my experience GLS is good, cheeper and very reliable.

Please check this information, I am sure there is a GLS pickup point also in your neighborhood.

Step1:I would love to give your master 6000 an overhaul Lesley, as I have done a good few now - feel free to contact me any time :-)
PM send Olly
BM6000 send for repair to the UK shipping incl. all options for 35.30 euro
Leslie I was going to suggest you could have saved on shipping by simply pulling out half the caps which will need to be replaced anyhow
Andrew, if it was just over 10kg I certainly would have done that but total weight was 17kg so I can't imagine there are 7+kg of caps inside. :-) :-)
