Any thing that excepts the A.Aux command. I currently use the A8 remote with my Beolit 12 and with A9s. I also use my Beo4 to control them.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

So volume +/- yes

And I think skipping

And probably standby :-)

Ok, thanks guys! Will be looking to get one from eBay then, would be great to have one in the Kitchen for my Century rather than a Beo4.

It's always good to look on the B&O . Com / customer services for FAQ too. But when there are so many helpful people here...

Hello Simon,

Naturally I tried google, read the A8 manual and searched this forum before posting my question...

If it is up to me I would rather like Beoworld to be a living forum with as much activity as possible, even though I assume that a lot of answers can be found in other places if you know where to look.

Again guys, thanks for answering my question without hesitation and making kind remarks that one should consult the FAQ.

I agree about Beoworld. I hope you did not think I was saying you should only ask if you can't find the answer somewhere else!

I checked out the remote of Beoplay 8 to control my BV 7 and BV 10: There is NO reaction on any key!

It was suggested that the source should be in AUX mode .... did you try that ?

FYI it DOES work on BeoLit 12 :-)

FYI it DOES work on BeoLit 12 :-) My new avatar reads "anything unrelated to elephants is irrelephant" - except B&O (of course)

I tested A.AUX with Beo4 on my main system, which activates AUX-IN of my BS 9000 (connected via ML to BV 7). But still no reaction if I try the remote of Beoplay 8. But Beo4 works fine with Beoplay 8.

@Raeuber you are correct. I missed typed my reply. Any remote that has A.Aux as an option can control the BeoPlay products or even just in an audio mode like A.Mem will control the BeoPlay line (at least volume). The A8 remote will not work on B&O equipment however. Some products may except the volume control, but none that are around me currently (BS5).

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

An old thread but discovered today the A8 remote will control a BeoSound35. Was about to get rid of the the A8 remote and just happened to aim it at the BS35. The 35 is in Beo4 mode - not sure f that makes any difference.

Very pleased.
