Hello could you please advise me about some speakers . I have a BEOSYSTEM 2300 and i want some speakers for it .
Can you tell me if Bang & Olufsen Configuration: 2.0 SystemModel: BeoVox S30 speakers are compatible with my 2300 system?
Tricky - there are two beosystem 2300s - one which comprises a receiver and a tuntable - big flat radio amplifier is the Beomaster 2300 and that works fine with S30s.
However I think you are more likely to have the upright CD and radio device. This either needs active speakers which have a built in power amplifier - the most usual speakers are the Beolab 2500 or the Beolab 4000 though any Beolab speaker right up to the Beolab 5 will work. However the Beovox S30 will not - but will if you add another device - which is called the MCL2P - this is a small power amplifier that attaches to the Beosystem 2300 and will allow passive speakers to be used.
