I just bought a set for 20 pounds but they need love.

How can I take them apart and so on?

Are there any instructions? I need to change the cloth.

Do you know where I could get wall mounts or any kind of mounts?

Hi,

Just remove the two white plastic stripes by unscrewing the both plastic brackets connected to them at the back.

Then you have to remove a lot of screws all around the backside of the speaker. Try not to forget any :-) Now you can remove the back cover.

As you can see all the speaker chassis are mounted to the backside of the front cover. Remove them all and check the bass chassis. Usually the speaker cones needs refoaming.

Remove the "RedLine" plastic surrounding of the front cover by removing again some screws.
In this state you should be able to remove the old front clothing.

Buy some new speaker clothing at your choice and glue it onto the front again. Start with the B&O logo. Use some VERY liquid glue and VERY less of it. Preferable something form a spray can. I recommend using a hard and clean brush to to press the new cloth onto the B&O logo.

Maybe you will need some attempts until all wrinkles in the clothe are gone.

Please keep in mind that you everything at your own risk. I will not be responsible for any damages to you devices/equipment.

Best greetings.

Thx for this.

I will try to make them pretty nice looking. Am still deciding on the color though

Now I just need some wall mounts.

According to the service manual, in addition to the 2 screws holding the tapes in place, there are 9 screws holding the front and back together.  If you upgrade your membership to Silver/Gold, you will then  have access to the full service manual range on Beoworld - an invaluable source of info.

Dave.
