I have an idea to change beosystem 3 of BeoVision 9 with beosystem 4.What do you think?

Is a good idea?

Good idea.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

It was suggested to me by a dealer to wait on the new panels as well

What would the benefits be? I guess the video engine in the BS3 is good enough for the BV9...?

Too long to list....

I wouldn't change my BS3.

You loose all the analoque connections and the superb scaler inside.

No ML standard. The BS4 is some kin of downgraded BS3. It has some benefits but not for me.

Too many hoops to jump through. You'll lose your stand control, ability to trigger the screen on and off via RS232, you'll have to convert the HDMI out to DVI out, and you'll need to integrate the NL converter on the back for ML as well.......... doesn't make much sense. Just let the BV9 be a BV9, still an incredible screen!

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there
