Hello fellow B&O lovers,

After years of investing in digitial music (sonos, spotify, Nas,...), I am more and more tempted to go back into nostalgia lane, and buy a B&O turntable to go with my BeoSound 3000.

This would be my first step into buying B&O vintage stuff. I am not really a technical guy. So, I am looking for a reliable product, which can easily be connected to the BS3000.

Any suggestions?

The easiest is a Beogram 7000 - but these are very expensive. If I were doing this, I would get a Beogram 4002 and an external RIAA amplifier (which you need to boost the level up - the Beogrram 7000 has one built in). I think the BG4002 is far more stylish and has a very low amount of plastic in it so is likely to last longer!

I would suggest one of the newer decks, so you get the comfort of data-link compatibility, with built-in RIAA.

Suggested: Beogram, 7000, 6500, 4500, 3500

Unfortunately, the BS3000 does not have a Datalink enabled Aux socket. Hence my suggestion.

Hmmm...I did't know that. Why not?

The data link on the aux socket ceased when Masterlink sockets appeared. So from Ouverture onwards the BeoSound3000/3200 only have Aux in without data.
