Hi,

I have just brought a motorised stand for my beovision 6-26, but I can not get the stand to work.

i unplugged the tv, left for a few minutes then connected the power then the stand, the connection does not show up in the menu. I have tried various other ways of setting it up from connecting the stand and then power on and off etc and nothing.

the BV 6 is type 9521 and the stand 1409111

Any ideas?

thanks

Toby

It is possible to plug the din plug into the back of the set incorrectly. Remove the din plug and carefully check that it is plugged in correctly. Do this with the power of to the TV.

If that doesn't cure the problem....

There is a cable with a din plug that is connected inside the bottom of the pole. If this has come undone, the software in the TV will not detect the stand.

Unfortunately this will entail removing the television then detaching the pole from the base. You will then see the short lead from the base has to plug into the cable that goes up the pole.

Good luck

Hi,

Just a follow up, the lead had come away at the bottom, so all working now.

Thanks

Toby
