1/ Yes, the IKEA ad/tutorial shows a nice solution !

2/ I had not realised they were adding content to the BeoVision 10 site

--- I could not find a Hans Blomquist video :-(

--- I liked the way the BeoLab 3s were treated differently in their positioning so that they became part of the room design

3/ I also found the links on the Beovision 10 site to designer blogs quite inspirational

We Thanks You :-)

Although I won't be buying it, the idea behind this is good. Impressed. Ironic considering my dealer claims the forthcoming B&O Play V1 TV is a TV you'd expect....to find in an IKEA catalogue!

Shame B&O didn't approach IKEA over the V1 (mind you, still much more expensive than the IKEA userbase would expect to pay).

I'm hard pressed to see what is great about this product.

Looks like another Samsung SMART TV to me. OK, so it has a Blue-Ray. You can operate a Samsung Blue Ray with one remote if you have a Samsung TV with is it "smart link" or something like that???

Heck even Sony had figured out to put basic VCR functions in the TV's remote 20 years ago.

Honestly I think IKEA should stick to furniture.

Too long to list....

What is noticeable is the fact they've tried to solve problems that B&O tried to solve for years as well.

Less visible cable (Wireless subwoofer and tweeters hidden in the furniture). Integration, it does TV, Blue Ray, DVD, and CD, MP3 and FM.  1 remote that controls video AND audio. The furniture lets the remote signal go though so you can hide your set top box...

If we look back many many years ago, TV was once designed as a piece of furniture, B&O had it too.... , for IKEA, it is kind of retro, i guess. I like both companies idea, after all, I would prefer viewing experience rather then just watching TV...

exactly.

so give them 10/10 for effort, and ?/10 for execution.

Looks like a typical Ikea piece of junk.

Personally I'm more interested in what Apple & B&O come up with
