Hi Guys & Gall,

Now that my romance has been rekindled with B&O through my latest purchase of a BV 7-40 I have been thinking of a B&O TV for the bedroom. Second life of course.

I actually like all of them but my preference would be the BV7-32 for looks alone but it is obviously the largest of them all. Which one do you think has the edge bearing in mind it will be used through the link system for Sky , DVD etc connected to the BV 7-40

They all are similar money around £500-700.

I know that this may have been answered before in some threads but with the affordability of the three models I do feel that the question is probably more relevant now than it has ever been.

If there were more 6-26 with HDMI sockets i would get one of those, as it is i have an 8-26 in my bedroom and i regret being so negative about them when they came out.

The 7-32 are fantastic but good luck connecting multiple modern bits of gear with nothing other than HDMI out.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

We've got a 6-23 on the landing outside the bedroom and it's a great little tv for sound and picture . We got rid of the tv in the bedroom and it's nicer without!

Hi Chris,

The 6-26 with HDMI are rarer than hens teeth & quite a bit more used, withs regards to out & out picture quality which one do you think comes out on top.

They are all the same resolution or there abouts, forgetting the lack of HDMI they all have Digital capability but the mostly the sources will be either the built in didgital tuner or sky through the link etc.

is it possible to link the HD input i.e. HDMI/DVI with a a link source or is this only possible with the Matrix?

I would go for 32. We have a 8-26 in our bedroom now and it's too small for our taste. There was 6-26 before. We have sent it to the main room then. 6-26 looks just better because it's form, though the picture is obviously the same size.

When I bought my 8-32 from a dealer, there were 2 for sale. I bought mine for £275 with a stand!

There are a few on Ebay, but they want £8-1250. That will soon be UHD money!

We have a pole mounted BC1 in one corner of the bedroom. A stunning CRT TV with radio DVD etc built in. Parks itself parallel to the wall, swings towards the bed on turning on.

About a week ago B&O Chester (still selling on eBay) sold a pole stand for under £2! (£1000 ish at STB Brackets).
